Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subjects involved in the Aggravated Robbery of a fireworks stand owner.
At about 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2012, deputies were called to the intersection of Beechnut St. and Brentford Drive in the Mission Bend area of Fort Bend County with regard to an Aggravated Robbery.
Deputies learned the victim had left her fireworks stand with two bank deposit bags in the front seat of her vehicle. She noticed a Gold Lexus four-door passenger car following her near the intersection of Beechnut and Winkleman. She continued driving and even slowed to allow the vehicle to pass, but the suspects did not pass her.
Eventually, she stopped her vehicle at a crosswalk to allow two juveniles to cross the street at Beechnut and Soneto Drive. At that point, two black males exited the Lexus and approached her vehicle. Both carried black, semi-automatic handguns.
One suspect demanded that she give them the money bags and the victim complied.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans. The second suspect, who made the demands, was a black male in his early 20s and had an old scar cut mark from under the left nostril going upward toward his left cheek.
The gold Lexus was last seen traveling west on Beechnut headed toward FM 1464.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
