The Sugar Land Police are reminding the public to stay aware as they leave the bank after a Bank Jugging was reported just after 4PM on May 08, 2023. A Jugging is when suspect (s) follow customers from a bank to their next location.
The SLPD investigation revealed two masked men driving a silver Lexus sedan followed the victim from a bank to the 200 block Matlage Way Street in Sugar Land where they broke the window to a vehicle and struggled with the victim for her purse. Thankfully the victim was not seriously injured.

(FORT BEND COUNTY, TX) – On June 29, 2021, Santiago Mora, owner of ALKU Jewelers in Katy who was on the run after allegedly defrauding jewelry store customers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in high-end diamonds and watches, was arrested. Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office’s (FBCSO) law enforcement partners at the Houston FBI office reported that FBI agents in Miami arrested Mora on unrelated federal charges.
FBCSO Detective Jesse Murphy was the lead investigator who received numerous tips in collaboration with Fort Bend Crime Stoppers, which helped lead to Mora’s capture.
“I applaud the excellent police work of Detective Murphy and the FBI,” said Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan. “The result of this investigation reminds us that we’ve got work to do.”

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information concerning a Homicide.
On Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 8:04 p.m. the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office was called out to the 300 block of Broadmore Ave, in Rosharon for multiple gunshot wound victims.
FBCSO and Arcola Police Department units arrived at 8:12 p.m. to discover 2 persons deceased in a vehicle in the driveway of the residence and a third victim seriously wounded. Preliminary information from a witness is that an unknown number of suspects in masks approached the 3 victims in their vehicle in the driveway and began shooting. One person was detained on scene who was later identified as a witness.
The 2 male juveniles at the scene that died from their gunshot wounds are Devin Massey, 15, and Jonathan Massey, 17.
At this time there is no vehicle description, known suspects, or known motive. This is an ongoing investigation.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information concerning a Burglary of a Business.
Around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, August 4, 2019, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 7700 block of State Highway 99, in the Richmond area of Fort Bend County.
Deputies found a business had been burglarized and 79 pairs of designer eye glass frames, ranging from Prada, Versace to Armani, were missing. Detectives estimate the resale value of the stolen items are up to $20,000.
Surveillance footage revealed a vehicle of interest to be a late model white Honda Civic.
The suspect is described as a male with a thin build and thin mustache. He is seen wearing a navy blue and gray Astros baseball cap with different colored surgical gloves. The suspect also appears to have a rosary and cross tattoo on the back of his left hand.
It is believed the suspect may have targeted similar businesses in Fort Bend County and surrounding areas.

At 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 600 block of Daylilly Court, in the Richmond area of Fort Bend County.
Two young male suspects walked up to the victim’s house, rang the doorbell, and then proceeded to kick in the front door. One of the suspects can been seen carrying a gun.
After making entry, one suspect alerted the other that the homeowner had an alarm system and the suspects ran from the house. The suspects left in a dark colored Ford F250 with a trailer behind it.
The first suspect appears to be a young Caucasian or Hispanic male wearing a red and white hoodie, black athletic pants, sneakers, gloves, and appears to have pulled up his t-shirt over his mouth.
The second suspect appears to be a Hispanic male wearing a gray and white hoodie, black athletic shorts, and sneakers.
“Help us catch these two suspects before someone gets hurt,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls.

Sugar Land, TX – Sugar Land police are looking for two people who used fraudulent credit cards to purchase more than $20,000 worth of merchandise at Sam’s Club stores in the region.
Detectives believe mail stolen during February and April from at least four residential mailboxes in Sugar Land was used to order credits cards. A man and a woman used the fraudulent cards to purchase a Sam’s Club membership and merchandise that included electronics, groceries and gift cards.
Two suspects were identified from surveillance video inside the stores, and a suspect vehicle was seen on cameras at one of the homes targeted by the thieves in the Sugar Creek subdivision.
The man was black, 25-35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed approximately 175-200 pounds. The woman was black, 25-35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 120 to 140 pounds. The vehicle appears to be a grey or silver 2015-2017 Nissan Rogue.

On April 13, 2018, at approximately 9:30 AM, two unidentified males armed with a pistol grip long gun committed an Aggravated Robbery of RVR Health and Wellness Center located at 11925 US 59 Freeway, Stafford, TX. The suspects stole property from the business and an employee, including credit cards that were used at Walmart located at Beltway 8 and Bissonnet. The female in the photos was captured on Walmart surveillance video using the credit cards taken in the robbery. The female subject has facial tattoos and was driving what appears to be a newer model Buick passenger car. The Stafford Police Department is attempting to identify these suspects and gain information in reference to the Aggravated Robbery.
