One of the many programs that the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office embodies itself with is the Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers Program.
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers primary purpose is to obtain information on wanted persons, crimes, and criminal activity. In return, the program provides rewards for anonymous cooperation. Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers consists of a voluntary civilian Board of Directors and a police coordinator.
Do you have information about a crime committed in Fort Bend County? Would you like to give this information to the proper authorities, but don’t want to get involved for fear of retribution?
Then you need to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers. You may also be eligible for a CASH reward of up to $5,000 if your tip leads to an arrest. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest and filing of charges on a felony offender.
Rewards can only be paid out when YOUR TIP INFORMATION helps to solve any unsolved
crime(s), leading to an arrest, charges filed on the person responsible, recovery of drugs or the capture of a wanted felon.
Rewards will NOT be paid out when the information is already known to the police.
